The Washington Monument is an obelisk at the National Mall in Washington D.C. It was built to commemorate George Washinton, the first President of the United States. It is the world's tallest freestanding stone structure.

The Ellipse is a 52-acre park at the southern part of the White House fence. It is a large open area surrounded by oval drive. It is used for many community gatherings and functions including musical performances, annual military pageant, graduation ceremonies, recreational activities, and even demonstrations.

The National Gallery of Art houses one of the finest art collections in the world, focusing on achievements in Western painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and photography from the Middle Ages to the present. Admission is free.

The performer was Tomas Kaco, a talented pianist, composer and singer. He obtained a master's degree in classical piano at the Academy of Performing Arts in Praque in 2015. As a highlight of his career, he performed for former Czech President Vaclav Havel, as well as the renowned Vienna Opera Ball in Austria.
